Copies all files then delete
Copies a file then delete
Moves data to RAM then final location then delete
Partially copies data to destination while deleting it
Here read these Microsoft Docs:
That clipboard document does not address how file cut/copy/paste are done internally.
As I understand it, when you cut a file Windows internally marks the file as ready to be deleted (icon gets grayed out), but does not delete the file until after Windows has successfully pasted the file into another location (if you don’t paste, the icon returns to normal).
When multiple files are cut they I have no idea if they are individually deleted after that particular file was pasted or if it pastes all files and then deletes all files.
