Have you been looking for a DIY project that lets you mix retro gaming fun with your current data storage needs? Then this might be the perfect project for you! If you have some old 8-bit Nintendo game cartridges sitting around collecting dust and want to add a unique twist to your external hard-drive storage, then grab your tools and get ready for some geeky goodness.
The real question here is, will it blend?
Nice one. I saw a guide somewhere where the guy put the HDD in his NES controller. Looked cool, and the buttons lit up when you pressed them.
Anyone recognize the make of that portable hard drive he cannibalized?
From the video I can see the drive is a Corsair Force 480 GB which have been discontinued, I believe.
I was thinking of doing this but found making one from an NES controller and looking better with the wire sticking out.
