Infinite Directory Loop: How Do I Make One Myself?

#1

It may have been three or four years ago when I first saw this. My friend had contacted me about a situation he had on his computer. He had shown me a folder named ‘12345’ and inside of this folder was was another folder named ‘12345’ - and so on and so forth, forever, he said he’s been opening folders for 15 minutes and has never reached the end. He wasn’t able to delete the folder and the situation was never resolved.

tl;dr: I’m not asking for a solution to the directory loop, instead I want to know how I would go about creating this folder loop.

I would suspect that it would be a script.

Essentially, the subfolder is a link back to the parent folder.
