Digitally signed drivers include an electronic fingerprint that indicates which company the driver was produced by as well as an indication as to whether the driver has been modified since the company released it. This increases security, as a signed driver that has been modified will no longer have an intact signature. Drivers are signed using code signing certificates.
liked the article on how to disable signature checking but have a problem. when I get to the actual page that gives the 9 options to select option 7 being the one to disable signature checking, my computer shuts down (powers off before I can enter any selection. Lenovo k410 series win 8.1 ?????
How does one DISABLE the function for good ?????????
Does this still work for Windows 8 ?????????
What does this do ?????
Administrative CMD Prompt:bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKSbcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON
Administrative CMD Prompt:bcdedit -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKSbcdedit -set TESTSIGNING OFF
Unfortunately, the keyboard is disabled when coming to the numbered options screen on my surface pro 2. Even when trying to attach different keyboards, it seems that the type cover and all usb keyboards are disabled.
That is helpful.
I need a COMPLETE Technical Review of a Surface Pro 2 before I invest over $2000 in an unknown piece of hardware. Can't find any "geek information" about the machine on the net.
