Will DDNS work with satellite service where the power is only on for 2 hours a day. I cannot get a static IP address. I need remote access
Does the satellite service actually give you a PUBLIC IP? SOme do not they only give you a NATed IP shared between multiple users, making it impossible to use DDNS.
If that turns out to be the case I suggest trying Hamachi. Hamachi sets up a range fake IPs that you can acces remotely by way of Hamachi on a remote machine.
