It’s one thing to install an application you want, it’s another thing when an application not only ends up on your computer but continually pops up and irritates you. Read on as we help a fellow reader get to the bottom of his popup mystery and banish it in the process.
I uninstalled Picasa after Google sideloaded Auto Backup onto my computer via a Picasa update. Having one piece of their software installed should not be construed as permission for them to install whatever they feel like onto my system.
Question! What do I do if I get this in Google+? I clicked a couple of photos in the nearby railway museum the other day, and now it's telling me all about my wonderful trip to Chessy everytime I open Google+. (For the record, I've never been to Chessy)
My problem is the opposite. I have used Picasa for years and loved it. Now I am having a problem where spurious pictures will halt the upload process. It is so frustrating I am looking for alternatives even though I really like what they are doing with auto awesome and stories.
