We all delete files on our computers and mobile devices every day, but where do those deleted files actually go? Are they still there in some form? Can they actually be recovered? Is the recovery process difficult? Vsauce discusses the topic in this excellent ‘explainer’ video.

Well, they don't go anywhere. The OS simply chops off the first character of your filename and puts in a $ or similar sign. (If someone chops my head, where will I be? That's the first step (burying or burning is next).
Many utilities exist to bring the files back, they just do the obvious, by asking to provide the first character. Simple.

Deleted data from computer system or other device does not go any where else but you can't read them directly,For this you should try to use a recovery program such as Kernel for Windows Data Recovery software. With the help of this kind of software one can very easily recover deleted data from hard disk .
