I don't know; there's some mighty weird stuff that comes out of Arizona although the Climate is nice for old folks.

In Scotland. we have a thing called 'Lorne Sausage', that is a sausage meat sold for slicing into approx. 9cm squares. If you ask for a 'sausage roll' in a roadside 'burger van'', you'll be asked if you want conventional (cylindrical) sausages put in a roll/bap/bun, or a slice of Lorne sausage.

When it says it was never seen outside of very limited markets within Hawaii and Arizona, the chances are excellent that you've never seen it. The chances are good that very few people ever saw it.
That you have never seen it makes more sense than does you calling this thread BS.
