Thanks to a new mobile device charging standard, it’s possible to keep your phone charged up without ever fumbling with the tiny microUSB charging cable again. Read on as we review the RAVPower wireless charger, show you how to set up a phone for wireless charging, and talk about how we went from skeptical to entirely in love with the whole wireless charging process.

very cool.. but i don't see the difference with just sitting the phone on a charger or plugging it in...
versus plugging in a charger and sitting the phone on it... plus, my charger didn't cost me anything, since it came with my phone, and it's always plugged in.. all i have to do when my phone needs charging is hook up the cord..takes 2 seconds...
nice article though..as always...

The biggest reason I bought a wireless charger for my phone was to reduce the wear and tear on the USB port. My friend has an identical phone but without a wireless charger, and he completely wore down his port from constantly attaching and re-attaching the charging cable.
Its also a great party trick... I probably need to throw better parties.
