When we learn about places, people, and events from history, we are usually taught about them in separate chunks or blocks, making them ‘seem’ rather separate and/or disconnected from each other. Vsauce provides a new perspective about some famous people, places, and events from history that you may not have known about or thought of as simultaneous/connected.

A similar flaw in our thinking is the belief that the most important events in recorded history, or even the somewhat important, were actually recorded. We are in fact profoundly ignorant of what got us to where we are despite what we think we know of history.
