Microsoft has been called late to the party for not offering Microsoft Office for the iPad, other tablets, and smartphones. But Microsoft does make quite a few different versions of Office for mobile devices, although they aren’t full versions of Office.

I was fortunate that my Moto X came with QuickOffice, which works with all of my MS office files. So far, I have not had to consider buying any of Microsoft's programs to get my work done.

If you pay for office you can use the actual MS office app on Android

Being an Open Office fan I use Kingsoft Office on Android. Does the job well.
