No need to wait for Valve’s Steam Machines — connect your Windows gaming PC to your TV and use powerful PC graphics in the living room today. It’s easy — you don’t need any unusual hardware or special software.

I like the Idea of using steam to select your games, but I personally don't use it because all of my games either don't utilize it, or are emulated. I usually use XBMC with a plugin called Advanced launcher. Set the games up, and voila!

You can set up Steam to launch non-Steam games.
