The repositories on Ubuntu,Mint etc are becoming better and better and serve users well especially those new to Linux. However the article contains lots of useful info.Thanks

Love Ubuntu/Linux and I'm always looking at new programs to evaluate/see if it can fill a niche, or, just because it looks different. This is good info and gives me more to work with.
