People often joke that certain places are worlds unto themselves. With this clever photo editing trick you can take a panoramic photo of a place and turn it into a miniature planet–be it a panorama of a city, botanical garden, or marina, you can make it a world unto itself.
It's possible to use Gimp to achieve similar results.
How do you do it in GIMP?
Or you could by a Nexus 4.
I used PIxlr to create a similar image, can't show it, I just wanted to test that you could do it.
scale image to square size
Filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates
Or just use your android device's picture editor (if u have JB 4.2.x) and than you can make a little planet with it. Or was is just for photosphere...
or simply use the App "Tiny Planet FX pro" from the play store...
