As worries about climate change continue to grow, scientists are working hard to understand the changes that are occurring right now as well as the ones we may face in the future. One avenue they are pursuing is looking to the past for answers. By drilling deep into the ice and scouring ancient sea beds, they hope to find evidence of past climate change and use that information to see where our planet and climate may be headed.

I dont know but science cannot even take the massive database we have about weather and competently predict it, yet they want to dream about what it might look like in a 1000 years? I would love it if they could tell me on Thursday what the weekend was going to be like so I could plan what I am going to do. They have not been able to do that since they started relying on computers to tell them and meteorologist were hired because they had an education in meteorology and atmospheric science. Now all they need to know is how to login to Windows and do basic computer tasks like open a word document.
